Our Brewing Story

From a garage homebrew setup to Denver's RiNo district

How It All Started

Head brewer Jake Torres started homebrewing in his Littleton garage in 2014. Three years and three consecutive Colorado Homebrew Competition gold medals later, he knew it was time to go pro.

In 2017, Jake and co-founder Lisa Chen signed a lease on a 5,000-square-foot warehouse in Denver's River North Art District. They built the brewhouse by hand, poured the taproom bar from reclaimed timber, and opened the doors that October with four beers on tap.

Our Brewing Philosophy

We believe great beer starts with great water. Every batch begins with Rocky Mountain snowmelt, filtered naturally through granite before it reaches our brew house. We pair that with barley from Front Range farms and hops sourced from Colorado growers whenever possible.

We brew 15 barrels at a time because small batches let us experiment. If a new recipe works, it goes on tap. If it doesn't, we learn from it and move on. This approach keeps our lineup fresh and our brewers excited.

By the Numbers

15-Barrel Brewhouse

Our custom-built system lets us brew small batches with precision, ensuring freshness and consistency in every pint.

Colorado Ingredients

We source over 60% of our grain and hops from Colorado farms, supporting local agriculture and reducing our carbon footprint.

12 Rotating Taps

Our tap list changes weekly. We brew over 40 unique recipes per year, from hop-forward IPAs to rich barrel-aged stouts.
